Grass 839-05 or 839-06 Hinge - Refurbished - Replaces 839-04 hinge

Grass 839-05 or 839-06 Hinge - Refurbished - Springs are good and the action is smooth.  The Grass official number of this is 839-05.  The number in the hinge "cup" is 839-06 but Grass does not use that number for this hinge.  See the last photo for the location of the official Grass hinge number.

Grass 839-05 or 839-06 Hinge is a direct fit replacement for the 839-04 hinge.  The only difference is the material the hinge is made of.  The 839-04 is cast Zinc and the 839-05 is stamped Steel.  The 839-05 fits all the same holes as the 839-04

What does "Refurbished" mean to me?  These hinges arrive to us from various sources and in various conditions. We separate the usable from the unusable. The springs and pressure pins are salvaged from the unusable hinges.  The usable are cleaned in a solvent with rust inhibitors and inspected for operation. Springs and pressure pins are replaced as needed. A high quality grease is applied to pivot pin, pressure pin and spring ends. The hinges are tested again for operation before final approval.
